Install Nautica theme via ftp
Extract the files from the zip folder. There should be a folder called "nautica" upload this to your themes folder via FTP.
Upload this folder to "wp-content/themes/" so it will look like: "wp-content/themes/nautica".
The next step is to activate the theme.
You will login into your admin panel. Appearance - Themes - Nautica - click the activate link.
Install Nautica theme from the WordPress Dashboard
Download the zipped theme pack to your local computer and extract the ZIP file contents to a folder on your local computer.
Log into your WordPress admin panel and click on the Appearance tab.
Now click on the "Add New Themes" tab.
Click on the "Upload" button, "Browse" for file called nautica.zip In the extracted folder select "Open".
Click the "Install Now" button.
Activate the theme from this page, OR "Return to Themes Page" and activate from there.
Wordpress settings
1.Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and in the Common settings, set the Custom Structure with : /%category%/%postname%/
2.Go to Dashboard > Users > Edit User and add Biographical Info, Twitter Profile URL,Facebook Profile URL and Google Profile URL.
Installing Sample Content
Import posts, pages, menus and images only not the demo site theme settings.
Go to Dashboard - Tools - Import - WordPress
Install the plugin.
Use it to upload the sample content XML file.
Migrating From Another Theme
If you are migration from a theme which used the native featured images functionality of WordPress. Please use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to resize all the thumbnails. Click the link above and download the free plugin, and read through the steps it contains, it has all the information you need.
These plugins are included in the theme - Go to Appearance - Install Plugins!

Nautica comes with a straightforward and simple homepage. If you would like to adjust the amount of posts shown per page you can go to Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most and change the number. Also you can change Homepage Layout.. go to Appearance - Theme Options - Layout Settings - Homepage Layout Settings.
